Ark Nova's simpler sibling. Definitely distills a lot of what makes Ark Nova good. It focuses more on the zoo map and removes the scoring contention for the worse if you ask me. It's definitely shorter so I'd play it if offered but I don't think it's better then Ark Nova.

Winter's Orbit - Everine Maxwell

While an engaging read and I didn't find it that interesting a book. It's basically a romance space opera. The premise is two characters forced into a marriage when one's husband dies. You get both characters perspectives and both think they aren't good enough for the other and have lots of self doubt. It's a bit over done to be honest. It also appears to borrow a lot from the Left Hand of Darkness. 2/5

Finally I have my email to blog pipeline built! Multiple years in the making. Claude Code greatly reduced the effort and complexity of building and hosting it on Digital Ocean. I only see a future with more custom software now that AI can assist with development.
